The first thing you’ll hear is the voice of a caring, well equipped volunteer from one of our partner churches. A volunteer who will take the time to listen and care for you; who will inquire about the presenting need, but also explore the broader context of your situation. Everything we do revolves around relationships because Love INC isn’t just about meeting needs, it’s about meeting people where they are at, and helping them achieve their God-given potential. Here are a few of the ways we do that in our community.

Call Center and Mentorship Program

The Love INC Call Center takes thousands of requests for help each year. These calls are answered by caring volunteers who listen to understand each person’s situations and direct them to the most appropriate source for help. Our first priority is helping the individual enter our Mentorship Program where they are matched with a trained, Christian Mentor who calls them weekly to establish trust, build a relationship, and walks alongside them toward mutually-established life goals. If Love INC’s Mentorship Program is not the best fit for the individual at this time, we make a referral to another church, nonprofit, or agency in Brevard that best meets their needs.

Need Meeting Network

Once a client has completed our intake process, and been matched with a mentor, we begin leveraging our entire partnership network to meet their needs and remove every obstacle in their path to growth. Our need meeting network spans across the entire County and includes: home repair, car repair, dental services, legal aid, mental health counseling,  gas and grocery support, transportation assistance, housing solutions, and much more! If our clients have a need, we are working across the County to find someone who can help our clients! Our Need-Meeting Network is only for clients in our program who are taking an active participation in their transformation, this way all partners know they are providing a hand-up, not simply a hand-out. All needs are verified by our team, and all clients receiving assistance have been recommended by their Mentor. 

Gap Ministries

Love INC helps churches build ministries to fill the gaps in services by identifying unmet needs in the community. From baby cribs to financial management classes, we help churches organize services and products to meet real needs without duplicating existing resources. Yet, what is offered is much more than products and services, our relational approach ensures that each person is seen as an individual and offered prayer, encouragement, and ongoing connection.

Life Curricula

Life Curricula classes offer learning opportunities around an array of topics, from employment skills to personal finance. These classes allow Love INC clients to engage with a facilitator and other class members in order to grow mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Currently we offer 3 minimesters throughout the year, and each minimester is 8 weeks long. All sessions are hosted at a local church, and at each session all Facilitators, volunteers, and participants share a meal together before splitting into their small group learning environments.
