Denise Viscuso

Denise lives in Palm Bay and attends Coastline Community Church in Indian Harbour Beach, FL. She has served with Love INC of Brevard since 2011.

Denise has devoted her life of singleness to serving God in community and dedicated to Christian unity. She began as a missionary in the Philippines for the Christian & Missionary Alliance and helped pioneer local churches in the US. Denise then worked as a journalist both as a news reporter and later as the Managing Editor for Eternity magazine in Phila., PA. In 1993, she started her nursing career as an ER nurse in Camden City, NJ, and Phila, PA. In 2005, she was board certified as a Nurse Practitioner and worked for Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Phila., PA, and taught a semester in Thomas Jefferson’s Family NP program until she was disabled from Multiple Sclerosis in 2009.

In January 2011, while rereading the gospels in preparation for her 30th anniversary of receiving Jesus as her personal savior, the Holy Spirit called Denise back to ministry service to help people in poverty. She relocated to the Space Coast six months later, joining Love INC three weeks after her arrival. Denise first volunteered in the call center and then seven years as the Volunteer Coordinator.

Denise now serves as the Education Coordinator. She is responsible for curriculum development and training volunteers, staff, and community partners to minister to individuals who are facing poverty and hardship, aimed at life transformation in Christ.
